Best Home Inspections
As a Tennessee home inspector, Bernie Eskesen is one of the best. I like to use him because he tells it like it is! I've seen him advise people against purchasing the home they want. In one instance, the home looked very well taken care of and the buyers almost decided not to even have an inspection. But, as I usually put my 2 cents worth in.....and advised them to always have an inspection. Guess what? Bernie found $20,000 of repair work that needed to be done to the foundation. And even though the seller's property condition disclosure indicated that there were no problems....this home inspector found where someone had tried to cover up the problem. Yes, he's worth every penny you spend!
Although we certainly don't require that you use the services of any particular home inspector, Best Home Inspections has served our clients very well. He is the home inspector that listings agents hate to see coming....and that's the one we like because as Exclusive Buyers Agents, our job is to represent you - and only you - 100%.
Bernie is a Certified 1 & 2 Family Dwelling Inspector with a BS Degree - Major: Forest Products Engineering
We appreciate his dedication and attention to detail. He makes our job easier because he makes sure our clients know everything possible about the home they are purchasing. He explains in detail any problem areas in the home......as well as telling the good points.....and he also explains when the new homeowner might expect to repair or replace something in the future. We like the honesty he exhibits.
The following is part of his resume:
- BS Degree, Major: Forest Products Engineering
- Certified 1 & 2 Family Dwelling Inspector
- HomePro Professional Home Inspection Institute
His Professional Affiliations:
- ASHI: Member, American Society of Home Inspectors
- ASHI MID-SOUTH: Chapter President 1996-1998
- SBCCI: Member, Southern Building Codes Congress International
- His university cirriculum included courses such as Wood Frame Structure, Wood Destroying Insects, Grading Rules, Wood Products, Glued Wood Products, Strength of Wood - also calculus, physics and other engineering courses.
He has been a Tennessee home inspector for the past 15 years. Prior to that, he was the quality control supervisor at a Georgia Pacific hardboard plant.
As you can see, he is more than qualified for the job.
