From Medical Economics magazine....
"Level the playing field when you buy a home! You may get a better deal with your own broker pulling for you. The introduction of buyer's brokers takes a horribly one-sided process and simply makes it fair."

Nashville's High Foreclosure Areas

The recent mortgage meltdown is affecting all areas of the country...and Nashville is no exception.  There are several Nashville neighborhoods with foreclosure rates in the double digits.

Antioch (37013) leads Nashville in foreclosures with 24 filings in April, 2007.  Other neighborhoods with high foreclosure rates are Madison (37115), East Nashville (37206), South Nashville (37211), Antioch/South Nashville (37217) and North Nashville (37207).

Hermitage (37076), Goodlettsville (37072), Old Hickory  (37138) and South Nashville (37210) aren't far behind.

I personally blame the recently in-trouble mortgage programs for putting people into situations like this.  My pet peeve is the 125% mortgages.  I can't understand why our elected government officials allow these 125% loan to value mortgages.  Anyone who needs this kind of mortgage is already in trouble and mortgage companies are being allowed to make things worse for them!
