Nashville Zoo is always fun! Many animals from around the world. Exciting shows and a petting area.
Tennessee Renaissance Festival Travel back to England – 16th Century. Hear the sounds of renaissance musicians and merrymakers as they echo through the trees. Open each year in May.
Nashville Children’s Theatre In its’ 75th year, it’s the only professional, non-profit theatre dedicated exclusively to kids and their families.
Fort Nashborough Replica of the original settlement of Nashville. It reflects the lifestyle of frontier pioneers in the late 1700’s.
Nashville Shores Beautiful white sandy beaches…..7 water slides. Rent a jet-ski or pontoon. Great fun!
Wave Country Ride the waves – or enjoy the 3 water slides. Children’s playground and
sand volleyball.
Bi-Centennial Capitol Mall State Park
Designed to give visitors a taste of Tennessee history and natural wonders. It also serves as a lasting monument to Tennessee's Bicentennial celebration. You'll find historical, natural and recreational attractions. Programs conducted by park rangers are frequent. Picnic tables are on a first-come basis.
And right next door is the Nashville Farmers Market....with an international food court featuring several ethnic food vendors.
The center section of the park boasts a 2,000-seat amphitheatre with terranced lawns providing dramatic views of the State Capitol Building. It is patterned after the Greek ampitheatres.
Be sure to visit the Bi-Centennial Capitol Mall when you are in Nashville. It;s located at 600 James Robertson Parkway in downtown Nashville.
