The Nashville Arena….long known as the Gaylord Entertainment Center, will now be known as the Sommet Center.
The arena is home to the Nashville Predators (NHL) and the Nashville KATS, as well as the area’s primary venue for large scale musical productions.
It has hosted over 10 million visitors with seating for up to 20,000 people.
The $120 million center features 62 suites, 2,000 club seats and a 350-seat arena club. The facility also has a 15,000 sq.ft. rehersal hall and 25,000 sq. ft. of exhibition space and meeting rooms.
The center is downtown…within walking distance of the Ryman Auditorium, Historic 2nd Avenue and Riverfront Park.
